The conference will take place from July 8 to 11 at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS Paris), 45 rue d'Ulm, 75005 Paris.
The ENS is located in the center of Paris, in the lively Latin Quarter.
As for getting to Paris: any mean is good. If you take the train, all the international stations are in the center of Paris within easy reach of the hotels and conference location. If you take the plane, both the 'Charles de Gaulle' and the 'Orly' airports are easy to get to. Both airports are connected to the center of Paris by the RER B train line. The 'Luxembourg' RER B station is very close to the conference venue, so that there is no supplementary connexion to come from the airport to the conference site. On your return journey, take care to check that the RER B train you get on goes to the airport, as the line has several branches. There are screens on the platforms that mention the stops. All RER B trains leaving from the airport stop at all stations inside Paris (including 'Luxembourg').
Hotels can be quite expensive in Paris, so try to book a room as soon as possible. Below are some links to hotels in the close neighbourhood of the conference site.
Warning: in some hotels, the cheapest rooms do not have a private bathroom and showers and/or toilets are shared with other rooms.
It is very easy to find affordable food or drinks nearby the conference venue. The area around Rue Mouffetard is 5 minutes away and full of restaurants and nice take away places. You can also affordable restaurants and take aways in neighboring streets such as Gay-Lussac street, Claude Bernard street, Rue du Pot de Fer, etc.
